Opportunity
Under limited supervision, Bell Staff I I will provide professional and personal service to guests and members for the duration of stay. Bell Staff will perform a variety of services, including but not limited to: greeting guests at entry points of the property, loading/unloading luggage, valet, transporting luggage to and from guest rooms and providing guests with property information, local attractions and directions.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Responsibilities
Guest Arrival
Open the door and greet guest with sense of arrival by using proper greeting and last name.
Escort guests to their rooms with luggage.
Explain the proper procedure of the door lock system and emergency exits.
In the guests room, hang any garments in the closet and explain the room amenities and place any luggage on a luggage rack.
Valet guests vehicle if requested or give directions to parking areas for self-park.
Guest Departure
Remove luggage from guests room and bring it to the lobby, (store in storage closet, luggage room if necessary).
Retrieve vehicle as requested.
Message and Delivery Responsibilities
Deliver messages from Front Desk or Concierge to guests.
Deliver newspapers to guestrooms.
Deliver amenities or a package to guests room.
Any other miscellaneous deliveries required by guest or hotel staff.
Work Area Responsibilities
Ensure bell stand coverage at all times.
Maintain a clean work area, including all common rooms and storage closets. Furniture should be arranged properly and debris should be picked up.
Maintain a clean entryway to the property by sweeping, shoveling, salting, and ensure proper lighting is in good working condition.
Information Responsibilities
In depth knowledge of all in-house facilities and hours of operation, as well as daily activities and area attractions.
Provide guests with information and brochures on the Kohler Resort facilities and history.
Timely response to special requests; inform hotel departments as appropriate.
Inform supervisor of any guest problems or unusual circumstances.
Transportation Responsibilities
Assist with transportation when necessary.
Valet park vehicles.
Park Avis Rental cars in the designated area , for applicable properties .
Additional Responsibilities
Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of other leadership to respond to and resolve escalated guest concerns or requests.
Assist in the training of entry level associates.
Skills/Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid drivers license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills is necessary.
- Physical requirements include: walking, standing for extended periods, bending, reaching and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
- At least 2 years of previous experience required.
- Work hours will frequently include weekends and holidays and occasionally include overnight shifts.

The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location.
