We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Steward to join our professional culinary team at SAGE Dining Services. In this vital role, you'll help ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, contributing to a safe and efficient environment where fresh, made-from-scratch meals are prepared daily for a vibrant school community. They are responsible for tasks like dish-washing, cleaning, restocking supplies, and ensuring a positive customer experience by assisting with seating, taking orders, and resolving issues.
This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PMno nights, weekends, or holidays, and summers off! As a Steward, you'll be responsible for washing dishes, sanitizing kitchen equipment, organizing storage areas, and assisting with general kitchen cleanliness and setup. We're seeking someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work quickly and carefully in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:
Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
What you'll need:
Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
