Job Overview: The Bayside Cafe at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team. This position requires delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere. As this role is both inside and outside, candidates must be comfortable working in natural elements, including sun, heat, rain, and wind.Key Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.Accurately handle payments, operate the point-of-sale system, and balance cash drawers.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bar areas, tables, and dining areas.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar and dining areas for daily service.Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, ensuring a positive guest experience.Qualifications:Previous serving experience preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment.Must be at least 18 years old and possess or obtain the necessary alcohol serving certification.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Physical Requirements:Ability to work outside in natural elements, including sun, heat, rain, and wind.Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.Manual dexterity to operate bar and restaurant equipment.Benefits:Competitive pay and tips.Employee discounts and resort perks.Opportunities for career advancement.Positive and dynamic work environment.EOE M/D/F/V
