Job DetailsOur newly-opened Mexican fast-casual takeout and delivery restaurant in Manhattan's vibrant East Village seeks a highly professional Cashier/Kitchen Manager to join our opening team for night shifts. Full or part-time available.
We're looking for an individual who is not only proficient in cash handling but also has experience packing and handling delivery orders, and embodies a positive team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Must Possess: Food Protection Certificate from Department of Health, and be well-versed in DOH regulations.
- Prior Experience: Previous work as a cashier and kitchen manager, and handling orders from delivery apps (such as Uber, Grubhub, Doordash) in a restaurant setting in New York City is essential. Experience with Toast POS is a must .
- Coordination With Kitchen: To ensure food is prepared on time, at a high quality.
- Customer Service Excellence: Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service under pressure, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all patrons.
- Operational Proficiency: Competence in processing transactions accurately, efficiently managing takeout orders, and professionally handling incoming phone calls.
- Team Collaboration: A strong commitment to teamwork, operating with a "no ego, no drama" philosophy, and contributing positively to a collaborative work environment.
- Bilingual Capability is a plus: Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
