Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
- Maintains all kitchen operations daily including scheduling, ordering, costing, cleanliness, and preparing the menu
- Develops new menu items as needed weekly or seasonally, maintain a fresh and exciting menu
- Lead, coach, and develops the BOH team daily
- Establishes and enforces nutrition and sanitation standards
- Responsible for organizing farmer's market visits
- Maintains professional relationships with vendors
- Upholds highest standards in food quality, service, and cleanliness at all times
Chef de Cuisine Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine role
- Strong experience working in upscale reputable Chef-driven concepts with a volume of 3M or higher
- Exceptional leadership abilities and communication skills; ability to lead with humility and maturity
- Experience creating exciting and seasonal menus using local ingredients
- Highly organized, efficient, hands-on and solution-orientated
- Must have Food Handler card certified through a Health department
- Must have solid tenures and career progression
- Passion for restaurants and the desire to grow as a Chef
