Restaurant Manager, Private Club - Philadelphia
A distinguished private club near Philadelphia is seeking a seasoned Restaurant Manager to lead daily service operations at one of its primary dining venues. This individual will be responsible for managing and inspiring the front-of-house team, overseeing beverage service, and upholding the clubs high standards of hospitality in collaboration with the broader Food & Beverage leadership.
Restaurant Manager, Private Club - Responsibilities:
- Manage, train, and coordinate daily activities of front-of-house team members
- Facilitate team huddles before service and lead by example during shifts
- Oversee smooth day-to-day dining operations and execution of private events
- Partner with HR and leadership on hiring and talent acquisition
- Deliver structured onboarding and elevate service with proactive hospitality standards
- Work closely with the culinary team to align food delivery timing and presentation
- Administer beverage operations, including wine lists, cocktails, and beer offerings
- Foster collaboration across departments through clear and consistent communication
- Build member rapport with a personal, engaged, and service-driven presence
- Uphold all relevant safety, labor, and sanitation standards
Restaurant Manager, Private Club - Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage; private club or high-end restaurant background is a plus
- Skilled in assigning sections, organizing service duties, and optimizing floor layout
- Comfortable engaging with discerning clientele and managing a diverse service team
- Demonstrates strong leadership, adaptability, and clear communication under pressure
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and POS or club software platforms
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Hospitality Management or Business degree is advantageous but not required
