Front of House Counter Server/cashier is responsible for greeting customers; entering orders and receiving payments on Clover POS; deliver food to customers; bus tables; assist with kitchen prep and dishwashing; general cleaning; and listening to old country music for entire shift. Must be able to lift, carry 35 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
Hourly base wage plus tip pooling. Set Schedule Thursday - Sunday. Service hours are 7 am - 3 pm. This job involves weekend shifts. This is not a table service position.
Holidays Off include Christmas, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Easter
Job Responsibilities include:
-Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
-Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
-Serve food promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
-Sanitizing tables, utensils, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness.
-Process payments using the cash register and ensure accurate transactions.
-Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
-Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
-Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities.
-Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred.
-Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
-Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
-Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
-Experience with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
-Must be available for full shifts Thursday-Sunday
