Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute menu items with precision and consistency, following our recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure food quality and freshness by properly handling and storing ingredients.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dishes and special menu offerings.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain adequate supplies.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant or culinary environment.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with different culinary styles and the ability to adapt to changing menus.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
