We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This position is essential in providing our guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
Manage dry cleaning services for guests, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all tasks.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure guest satisfaction and a seamless operation.
Qualifications
Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting.
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and laundry procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items as needed.
