About This Role
Flex custodians are on-call team members that maintain the cleanliness of our clients' facilities. Cleaning tasks include, but are not limited to: removing trash, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning and stocking restrooms and performing other various cleaning duties as assigned at the contracted site. You should have a flexible schedule, a valid driver's license, and a personal vehicle.
Flex Custodian Responsibilities:
- Travel to different client sites, as assigned by operational leadership.
- Provide excellent service to our clients in the form of comprehensive, detailed cleaning and a friendly demeanor.
- Clean floors using various methods and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize touch points and surfaces.
- Restock and clean restrooms.
- Inform supervisor when inventory is low.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Flex Custodian Requirements
- A valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- A flexible schedule and 24-hour availability - you will be on call.
- Successfully pass a background check, fingerprinting, and a 10-panel drug screen.
- Able to operate mechanical equipment (i.e. vacuums, scrubbers, strippers, etc.)
- Able to use reasoning and judgment
- Able to apply math skills to various custodial tasks (i.e. how much cleaning solution needed for area being cleaned)
- Able to communicate in writing effectively
- Able to stand, walk, bend twist, knell at various times through the entire shift
- Able to lift and move, up to 40 pounds
