Front Desk Receptionist, Inpatient Hospitals, PRN (As needed)

The Front Desk Receptionist will provide coverage of telephone and front desk duties. Answer incoming calls in a prompt, courteous manner according to Brooks customer service quality standards. Greet and assist visitors in a professional and efficient manner. Hours: PRN, As Needed. Weekdays as well as weekends Responsibilities: Receives hospital guests, patients and vendors, ascertains their needs, and directs them appropriately. Courteously answers the phone and directs calls to the correct department or staff. Answers routine questions regarding departmental policies, operations and procedures. Checks appointment locations and directs guests to an appropriate office or departmental area. Completes assignments supporting Leadership by designated deadlines. Monitors patients and visitors in lobby area. Coordinates with Admissions, EVS, Facilities Department, and Security as appropriate. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma. 1 year Customer Service experience. 1 year of switchboard or phone experience. Experience using Microsoft Office 365 preferred Ability to multitask Location: Both Brooks Hospitals Brooks Bartram Hospital, 6400 Brooks Bartram Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32258 Brooks University Hospital, 3599 University Blvd South, Jacksonville, FL 32216 Hours: PRN, As Needed. Weekdays as well as weekends Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
