What You'll Do:

As a Bartender at Boise Centre, you'll be at the heart of our events, responsible for:

• Crafting and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests, always upholding Boise Centre's high standards.
• Providing attentive and personalized service, including assisting guests with drink selections, processing payments, and ensuring an enjoyable experience.
• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including setup and teardown of bars, equipment, and supplies.
• Showcasing your knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, and making recommendations based on guests' preferences.
• Ensuring compliance with alcohol policies and verifying guests' legal drinking age.
• Collaborating with fellow bartenders to keep the bar stocked and running smoothly during service.
• Engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns professionally and courteously.
• Upholding Boise Centre's commitment to food safety and sanitation in all aspects of the job.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 6 months of bartending experience, including a solid understanding of liquor, beer, and wine.
• Alcohol Server Certification (TIPS) for the City of Boise.
• Knowledge of classic and modern cocktail recipes, as well as the ability to craft them quickly and accurately.
• Basic knife skills for preparing garnishes.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-stress environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality.
• A professional appearance, reliability, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift and move items up to 50 pounds and work in varying noise levels.
