Overview

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in fine dining or catering is a plus
