Line Cook (No grease or fryers!)

We are seeking a part-time high-energy, motivated, talented Line Cook . Candidate has an overall friendly demeanor to be part of our Back of House team. Our line cooks represent our cafe' by prepping and cooking high-quality, fresh, healthy cafe items with exceptional care, quality and consistency. They take great pride in preparing and presenting customers' orders and special orders as instructed and designed by our corporate chefs. They are able to multi-task and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.

No fryers!

Store hours are 11am-7pm Monday-Friday and 11am-3pm Sunday. No late nights!

Additional Requirements and Responsibilities:
One year minimum line cook and food prep.
Punctual (excellent attendance expected)
Passion for working with food and commitment to living a healthy lifestyle
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Basic math skills, ability to use a scale
Prepare the hot and cold line
Diligent about avoiding food waste
Prepare and cook a variety of healthy meals, including bowls, wraps, burgers, flatbreads, and other items
Follow recipes and portion sizes without deviation to ensure consistency and accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including required storage guidelines and labeling of ingredients
Serve Safe (or equivalent) certified desired
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with daily inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Maintain temperature logs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and cooking techniques
Communicate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service
Clean grill and line area
Deep clean grill and line area once per week
Perform side-work that includes washing dishes, grill and line cleaning, sweeping and mopping of area, cleaning appliances and racks
Rotate stock
Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time and move boxes weight 50 pounds
Good communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Maintaining cleanliness and good personal hygiene
Ability to take initiative and do tasks without being told
Dedicated to working with our other team members towards a common goal
Fun and creative social media savviness (Instagram Stories and TikTok) not necessary, but a plus!
Embraces and promotes a culture of teamwork and commitment
Demonstrate behaviors expected of all Clean Eatz Team Members, including a strong bias for action, high levels of maturity and professionalism, and commitments to a respectful workplace, and integrity
Must have reliable transportation
No formal education required

Pay Range:

$15 - $17 per hour, based on experience
