Cook - Baraboo Head Start Center

Are you tired of cooking nights and weekends in a restaurant? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a friendly, energetic individual to cook for preschool children Monday through Friday, year-round at our Baraboo Head Start facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Must be available Monday through Friday, year-round
Typical Hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Maintains a clean kitchen
Follows CACFP guidelines
Cooks for children 0-5 years old
Plans, purchases and prepares meals
Serves meals family-style
May prepare nutrition activities for preschool children

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
