Junior Maintenance Mechanic

Summary: Seeking a Junior Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on textile production machinery, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.

• Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent plus two years in a specialized training program
  • Comprehensive knowledge of equipment used for job functions
  • Ability to use a multimeter
  • Familiarity with Computer Maintenance Management Systems
  • Experience with industrial sewing equipment

• Preferred Skills:

  • Strong interest or foundational experience in mechanical maintenance

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on industrial sewing machines
  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in textile equipment
  • Set up and configure machinery for mattress manufacturing
  • Conduct minor repairs to ensure optimal stitch quality and equipment uptime
  • Complete daily preventative maintenance tasks
  • Support setup and calibration of sewing machines for various product lines
  • Test, document operation, and maintain repair logs for all sewing equipment
  • Replace broken or worn machine parts
  • Promote safety culture and implement safety procedures throughout the facility

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
