Level up your hospitality skills as you prepare exceptional food for eagerly awaiting guests. The ability to prepare each dish is an art that will allow you to continue to grow with us. You will be responsible for setting up, stocking, and maintaining various stations in the kitchen. Cleanliness and organization of the entire back of the house is paramount as you assist the team in opening, ongoing and closing duties.
Essential Functions of the position to include but are not limited to:
Ensure the food and beverage quality meets or exceeds the expectations of the guest
Adhere to all Amore Standard Operating Procedures, kitchen procedures, cooking and service standards
Ensure all recipes and orders are executed to the Amore standards of accuracy in a timely manner
Consistently uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Assume responsibility for an entire station and all ingredient prep for that station
Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menus including but not limited to allergens and special items offered
Assist with inventory, product check-in and rotation
High level of communication with front of house leaders and other chefs about tickets and items
Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, violations, or guest complaints/incidents to leadership team
Position requires grasping and carrying pots and pans of varying weights and temperatures; cutting, chopping and using a variety of culinary equipment; standing and walking with well-paced mobility, repetitive motions including but not limited to the afore mentioned and bending and climbing; listening, hearing and visual acuity necessary
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
Report all equipment problems and issues to the leaders
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the restaurant's smooth and efficient operation as directed by any leader or immediate supervisor
Must be able speak and understand basic directions in English

2+ years of relative experience in the Hospitality industry
Great knife skills and experience on hot and cold line
Maintain proper food certifications specific to State Laws

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Track record of taking ownership and going beyond responsibilities to ensure the success of the team
Able to take direction and work in a team environment
Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
Must be able to work weekend and holidays
