Houff Corporation is an employee-owned agricultural and industrial services company. We are currently seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to serve as a Groundskeeper/Landscaper with the ability to perform light maintenance tasks. This role is based primarily at our Weyers Cave facilities, with occasional travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain the landscaping and grounds at all Weyers Cave facilities, including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and mulching
Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf cleanup, and planting
Inspect and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
Complete light building and property maintenance tasks (eg, minor repairs, pressure washing, painting, changing lightbulbs)
Occasionally assist with setup and cleanup for company events or facility projects
Travel as needed to support groundskeeping needs at other Houff Corporation locations

Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform physical labor
Basic mechanical skills and willingness to perform minor maintenance tasks
Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field
Familiarity with lawn care equipment, small engine tools, or facility maintenance tasks
Basic plumbing, electrical, or carpentry knowledge
Class A CDL or willingness to obtain one is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
