Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.

Maintain Quality & Consistency: Ensure dishes meet taste, texture, and appearance standards before they reach the guest.

Kitchen Organization: Keep prep and cooking stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift.

Safe Food Handling: Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with BC regulations.

Prep Work: Chop, portion, marinate, and prepare ingredients for service.

Inventory Support: Help monitor stock levels, rotate products, and inform management of low supplies.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow cooks, dish staff, and servers to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Requirements:
Food Safe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain).

High school diploma (Culinary training an asset).

12 years kitchen experience in a restaurant or similar environment preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, and directions accurately.

Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift throughout your shift.

Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
