Job Title: F&B Cashier
Department: Food & Beverage

Status: Seasonal FT

Reporting To: Manager of Food & Beverage Services

Position Overview:

Powder Mountain is currently building our 25/26 winter season culinary team! We are seeking guest focused, friendly, and polished individuals to answer questions, guide our guests, and process payments in our F&B facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests to the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Clear tables, remove trash, replenish utensils and napkins as needed.
• Restock snack items, utensils, drink station, and condiments.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during very busy customer interactions.
• Process cash payments.
• Be a team player and help where needed.
• Process payments for food and beverage items.
• Use a point-of-sale machine.
• Answer questions about terrain and lift operations.

Requirements and/or Qualifications:

• Experience working in a guest facing role.
• Desire to be positive and motivated during busy seasons and inclement weather.
• Desire to work at 9,000ft in exposed weather conditions.
• Be polite and friendly to team members, other departments, and guests.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Sips and Tips Certification - required
• Food Handlers Certification - preferred
• Ability to work occasional overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays as requested.
• Great attitude, positive mindset.

Physical Requirements- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to:

• Full range of body movements
• Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (20+lbs)
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
• Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
• Climb/descend stairs
• Safely handle hazardous materials, including cleaning chemicals and sanitizer
  

Working Environment:

• Work is primarily performed inside, but can still be a chilly environment. Occasionally have to run outside for product.
• Dealing with winter weather walking to and from transportation.
