Job Details Job Details Green Door Tavern is Chicago's oldest tavern and is located in the River North area of Chicago. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate server to join our team!

Requirements
- 2-3 years previous serving experience in high volume bar/restaurant
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of beer, wine, spirits
- Thorough understanding of food and food safety
- Ability to effectively take guest orders and enter order into POS
- Commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience throughout the duration of their visit
- Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Professional and congenial demeanor
- Ability to stand for an entire shift (8-9 hours)
- A team oriented and collaborative, solution-driven mindset
- Availability nights and weekends

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be experienced and effective at offering a superb hospitality in a high volume, fast-paced, and often changing and dynamic industry environment. They will carry a positive, solution-oriented attitude, and are driven to deliver a positive experience for our guests each shift.
