Sunset is unveiling its new Cafe and have a few new opportunities available:
- 1st shift - we have 2 Prep cook roles that will be part time at 23 hours per week. The shift time will be from 11 am - 5:30 pm.
- 2nd shift- we have 2 Cook roles that will be part time and full time. Part time will be 16-24 hours per week and full time will be 32 hours per week.
Scheduling will include working every other weekend which includes Saturdays and Sundays. This position has a holiday requirement of every other holiday.
Wage: starting at $17.25-$19 per hour *Experience considered

Essential Functions of your Job:
- Assures that all food service procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Assists in planning normal and special diet menus as directed. Assures that food is available for preparation.
- Assists in developing methods for determining quality and quantity of food served.
- Attends department or staff meetings as directed or called.
- Assists in the production line to assure that meals are prepared on time.
- Communicates and interacts effectively with residents, family, and other departments.
- Must be able to push, pull, move and or lift up to 50 pounds
Requirements
Line cook experience preferred.
Food experience in healthcare a plus.
