Performs semiskilled work assisting with the cleaning, maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the close supervision of the Airport Maintenance Supervisor.
This position's schedule may be 3:00pm - 12:00am or 6:30am - 3:30pm, Sunday-Thursday. Please note, this position occasionally works a rotating shift, to include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Provides minor maintenance for Airport buildings and facilities.
- Washes windows, walls, floors and bathroom fixtures; strips, waxes and buffs floors; dusts, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors; dusts and cleans blinds.
- Performs rug and carpet cleaning.
- Disposes of refuse, litter and trash.
- Helps set up building and rooms for activities and special events.
- Performs routine building and facilities inspection and security checks.
- Performs minor repairs on equipment, furniture and fixtures; changes light bulbs, sanitizes kitchens, bathrooms and entrances to buildings.
- Performs errands in the form of delivering furniture and ordering and picking up supplies.
- Performs assigned functions as a Disaster Ready Team (DRT) member, if appointed or volunteer.
- Performs related tasks as required.
General knowledge of a variety of maintenance and manual tasks involved in building cleaning and minor maintenance work; general knowledge in the use of common cleaning and maintenance tools; general knowledge of the safe use and operation of tools and equipment; ability to perform manual labor; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the general public.
Moderate experience in maintenance and housekeeping, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have current valid driver's license.
Must be able to successfully pass initial and reoccurring Criminal History Records Checks (CHRC) and Security Threat Assessments (STA) to obtain and maintain an airport issued security (SIDA) badge.
Salary will be determined based on qualifications, internal equity, budget and market considerations.
