Host/Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a part time/seasonal friendly and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your exceptional communication skills and dedication to hospitality will ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage the seating chart and waitlist efficiently, ensuring smooth flow during busy periods.
Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials while answering any questions they may have.
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and dining areas.
Collaborate with Servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.

Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with guests positively.
A genuine passion for food service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 31 per week
