Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and providing excellent customer service to our guests. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products served.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred but not required.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Knowledge of food service practices, including sanitation standards and safe food handling techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
