Line Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and have experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and knives with skill and care.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the management team.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.

Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
Familiarity with dietary department standards is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills in the kitchen.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 43 per week
