Basic Purpose: Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.
Essential Functions:
Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotels point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guests original order.
Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each items, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
Comply with Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
What you will do

What you bring
At least 2 years of high-volume bartending experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits. Ability to upsell.
Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred/is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
Minimum Requirement
Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks.
Requires oral proficiency in the English language.
Able to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours.
Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
