This position is responsible for ensuring that all work performed by the Housekeeping Department in guest rooms and public areas meets expected standards of cleanliness and consistency.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure employees maintain quality standards.

• Assist in training employees in cleaning procedures; proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.

• Place supplies and amenities in designated areas.

• Monitor staff activity to ensure safe work practices.

• Create and update housekeeping documents.

• Assist in maintaining housekeeping inventory.

• Write work orders.

• Answer guest questions to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Log guest personal items into Lost and Found.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in cleaning and housekeeping functions.

• Proven employee/guest relations, problem solving, and organization skills.

• Professional image representative of company image.

• Ability to complete paperwork accurately with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities within the Housekeeping Department.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Word and Excel.

Job Demands:

• Physical requirements include walking (up to 95% of the shift), standing, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 35 lbs., observing cleanliness of the facility and communicating verbally.

• Regular schedule is 2:30 PM to 11: 00 PM including weekends and holidays. Days off will rotate. Schedule will vary according to the operating needs of the Housekeeping Department.
