Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to maintain a desirable environment with pleasant surroundings so as to enhance Eagle Ridge Conference Center & Resort and the Raymond Lake Lodge. Specifically, set up and maintain meeting room and conference center space including technology. Being able to work independently is critical to this function.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Experience in Industrial Maintenance

Experience in Hotel / Hospitality Industry or Similar Industry

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES , include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.

Assist with the setup of meeting rooms including tables, chairs, desks, A/V equipment at Eagle Ridge Conference Center and Raymond Lake Lodge.

Sweeps, mops, scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space.

Be able to use vacuum cleaner in carpeted areas, carpet cleaner and floor buffer.

Clean windows, blinds and drapes at regularly scheduled time.

Clean sidewalks with a pressure washer.

Assemble and dispose of all trash on a daily basis.

Clean and dust all furniture at a scheduled time.

Be available to come to work at odd times and on weekends as needed.

Perform light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, painting and other tasks.

Pick up limbs and debris outdoors.

Must be able to consistently work the 3PM - 11 PM shift.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the employee is occasionally required to perform job responsibilities in the outdoors and off site.
