Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Prep Cook, you will assist in the preparation of ingredients, maintain food safety standards, and support the overall success of our kitchen's menu offerings.

Duties
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per recipes.
Prepare and portion food items for cooking according to established guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety protocols.
Help in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish suggestions.
Ensure all food items are stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
Collaborate with management and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.

Requirements
Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
