Job Details We are seeking a friendly team member to join our team! We take pride in our baking and use only the finest ingredients, including 100% organic wheat flours, local farm-fresh eggs, milk, produce as available, and pasture-raised beef.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing guests with high-quality beverages, including the serving of food. Qualities we look for in our teammates include a genuine interest in food and beverage, the desire to create memorable experiences for our guests, and dedication to hard work.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks
  • Prepare and serve drinks that meet quality standards
  • Properly handle and maintain all equipment
  • Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
  • Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
  • Observe relevant health and safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Interests in coffee program, must be passionate about coffee
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to problem solve quickly
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
