In this vital role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Crafting Meals with Care: Preparing food for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring safe cooking techniques are always followed.
  • Dietary Expertise: Adapting recipes for various therapeutic diets and accommodating food allergies.
  • Quality & Compliance: Upholding high standards for food quality, consistency, and adhering to all state and federal food safety regulations.
  • Kitchen Mastery: Utilizing a variety of kitchen equipment (slicers, ovens, fryers, grills, etc.) to bring meals to life.
  • Safety First: Maintaining proper food temperatures, avoiding cross-contamination, and practicing impeccable hygiene.

Qualifications Education/Work Experience Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience, and two years food service experience.

Licensure/Certification
  • Washington State Food Handler Permit upon hire.
