Job Title: Bulk Storeroom Custodian Dining Facility Operations
Location: Roy M. Wheat Galley Dining Facility, NAS Meridian, MS
Hours: MonSun.
Key Duties:
Manage bulk subsistence storerooms containing dry, chilled, and frozen provisions.
Maintain security and inventory accuracy of all accountable food items.
Preserve food condition through proper subsistence storage practices.
Monitor and record storeroom temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Act as receipt inspector for incoming provisions, verifying quality and quantities.
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies promptly.
Ensure storeroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
Two (2) years of experience in bulk subsistence storeroom management.
Knowledge of proper storage methods for dry, chilled, and frozen food items.
Basic mathematical skills for accurate inventory tracking.
Ability to maintain security and accountability of government property.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
