Are you a skilled bartender who excels in fast-paced food and beverage environments where exceptional customer service is a must? We'd love to have you as a Bartender! In this role, you'll provide top-tier beverage service to our guests and play an important role in creating memorable experiences for everyone at our resort.

This is a seasonal position. Employment dates begin as soon as now and work through end of season on or around 10/31/25. As a part-time, seasonal position, exact schedule and hours are varied based on the needs of the business and may fluctuate from one week to the next.

This job works out of the Patricia Grand Resort in Myrtle Beach. Schedule will fluctuate and typically be nights 4p - 12a but may rotate to support pool bar which is 12p - 9p. Must be available nights.

Compensation

• $6.25 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.

What You'll Do

• Promptly greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure orders are taken accurately and completely
• Offer ideas and suggestions to guests when ordering
• Prepare bar area and supplies to ensure a successful shift
• Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction
• Resolve guest issues to resolution in effort to improve the guest experience and escalate any outstanding guest inquiries or concerns to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
• Make appropriate service recovery recommendations
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments
• Other tasks as needed - because every day looks different in hospitality!

Skills and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6-12 months of Bartending or equivalent Food and Beverage experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to give high priority to customer service.
• Ability to solve problems with a minimum of supervision.
• Basic office skills helpful including basic math, proper cash handling procedures.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Computer Skills and Knowledge
• Ability to use basic cashier equipment
• Basic knowledge of inventory and rotation of food and beverage

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time
• Reach overhead and below the waist
• Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
