Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, service, and repairs of a complex nature on assigned equipment or systems. This role requires troubleshooting and maintaining existing mechanical systems and associated equipment, including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, and more. The technician will follow detailed operational instructions, procedures, and blueprints while conducting maintenance activities and oversee the preventive maintenance system, providing required reports.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, service, and repairs of a complex nature on assigned equipment or systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing mechanical systems and associated equipment, including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, and cooling towers.
Follow detailed operational instructions, procedures, and blueprints while conducting maintenance activities.
Oversee the preventive maintenance system and provide required reports.
Determine preventative maintenance requirements for new equipment and train equipment operators to perform routine maintenance.
Maintain a safe and effective work area/environment using appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.
Support the Facilities Function as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

High School Diploma required
5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial background
Ability to read and communicate in English
Experience in working within a team environment and ability to adapt to changes in work requirements
Excellent customer service skills
BA/BS required if intending to pursue leadership roles

Work Environment
Work primarily on the first shift, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with optional overtime up to 10% per year, fluctuating with production needs. The work environment is manufacturing-based and occasionally loud, requiring safety glasses and steel toe shoes, which are provided on the first day. The assignment is a temp to hire position lasting approximately 4-5 months. Attendance is highly valued, and tenure is highly considered.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00/hr.
