Summary

General Maintenance Engineer Evening Shifts part-time at the Grand Hyatt Denver will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house spaces. This includes responding to guest room calls in a timely manner and providing outstanding service for our guests. This role will also include mechanical repairs as needed in kitchens, mechanical spaces and interior/exterior building repairs. This role requires a candidate thatmunicates well and self-motivates in lower call volume periods.

Days/Hours for this position will primarily be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from (3:00pm-11:30pm). Must have open availability and be able to work holidays. The schedule is subject to change depending on department and business needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications for this position:

Technical Experience in a related field or trade (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering)

Excellent customer service experience

Goodmunication skills (Guests, Clients & Hotel Staff)

Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures

Ability to work independently and as a team

Two to three years of previous hotel experience preferred

Sick pay - Earn (1) hour of sick pay for every (30) hours worked with a maximum of (48) hours per year.

The budgeted range for this position is between $24.00 - $28.00 per hour. Actual pay will bemensurate with experience.
