Job Description
Federal O&M Contractor seeking part time Custodian for long term employment opportunity within US Customs Station, Metaline Falls, WA. Incumbent will be responsible for keeping building in clean and orderly condition. Will perform heavy cleaning duties including but not limited to public bathrooms, public traffic areas, mechanical work areas, polishing fixtures, vacuuming, cleaning, mopping, stripping and waxing floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls/ windows. Empty heavy trash containers, restock/ inventory of cleaning and bathroom products, and other duties as assigned. Employee responsible for own transportation.
**Position is permanent part-time, 4 hrs a day on Weekends and variable days mid week but when needed may work extensive hours for Snow Removal purposes. Details to be discussed at interview stage.
Removal of snow/debris from sidewalks, maintain grounds & landscaping. Incumbent will be required to climb ladders, must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Requires strenuous physical effort, long intervals of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions of the hand-wrist and elbow-shoulder.
Employee will report to on-site Project Manager for day to day assignments. Employee responsible for own transportation. Must be willing to submit to a Federal background check.
Details: This position is part of a Federal Service Contract Act policy; benefits are determined based on location of position. SCA provides an earned' Fringe Benefit (currently $4.93) that is used to provide Insurances if elected; if the premiums do not utilize the full earned value the remainder is contributed to the company 401K on the employee's behalf. If insurance is waived the full earned benefit value will be contributed to our company 401K plan with 100% vested value as of first contribution.
