Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the area Lieutenant Commander the incumbant will perform routine janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness of the commercial vehicle enforcement facility. The cleanliness include sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, dusting and polishing cabinets, furniture and woodwork. Maintain the employee break-room/kitchen, lighting, plumbing, and other fixtures and equipment as needed. Clean restrooms, sinks, toilets and urinals. Move and arrange furniture, supplies,and equipment as necessary. Perform building, landscaping, and grounds maintenance. Cleaning exterior glass, walkways and parking areas. Maintain facility's fleet clean and properly stocked with appropriate supplies.

Working Conditions
The Chowchilla River CVEF is located on State Route 99, fifteen miles south of the City of Merced. The facility is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
The Maintenance Worker assigned to the position will work up to a maximum of 102 hours per month.
