Live-out or Live-in Part-time Housekeeper - NYC

Busy family of three is seeking a professional, part-time live-out or live-in Housekeeper for their 2 NYC properties (empty townhouse & their son's apartment). Responsibilities include full-charge housekeeping, occasional deep cleaning, maintaining overall cleanliness and upkeep, handling general laundry and delicate/fine linens (including ironing and steaming), ordering household supplies, and running occasional errands. Ability to cook is a plus but not required. Ideal candidate will be someone who takes direction well, is accustomed to maintaining a household to the highest standard, and can work with discretion and professionalism. Strong communication skills, formal home experience, and the ability to adapt to the family's needs is essential. Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and have a pleasant disposition with the ability to read the room. Family does not have any pets. Principals are only in residence 2-3 times per year and ability to work & live-in during their stay is a plus but not required. Their son is in residence year-round. The family is open to providing live-in accommodations only for consecutive working days. Reimbursement for transportation expenses related to work, is provided. Schedule is 3 days per week, 8 hours per day, with a requirement to work on Wednesdays at the son's apartment. Salary is $32.50 - $35+ DOE (may be flexible), with 2 weeks of PTO and 5 sick days. No health insurance offered.
