Prep Cook and Line Cook

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning, kitchen operations, and team management. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety standards and fine dining practices, along with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Duties Assist in the development and execution of innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all team members are trained in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and plating for fine dining service. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cooks and kitchen staff to foster professional growth. Requirements Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or fine dining establishment. Strong knowledge of menu planning, food safety practices, and culinary techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff effectively. Familiarity with inventory management processes and food service management principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team. A passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
