Part-Time Housekeeper / Companion (Las Vegas, NV) Private Household | Flexible Schedule | $40/hour A private household in Las Vegas is seeking a kind, professional, and proactive Housekeeper/Companion to provide part-time support to an independent adult who would benefit from thoughtful assistance in the home. This individual will be responsible for full-charge housekeeping, laundry, light meal preparation, grocery shopping, and errands, with the added value of warm companionship during visits. This role is ideal for someone who brings emotional intelligence, patience, and a respectful, low-key presence. The successful candidate will approach their work with care and attention to detail while also being sensitive to the client's preference for independence. Key Responsibilities: Provide full-charge housekeeping services including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and deep cleaning of kitchen and bathrooms Handle laundry and linen care, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing and bedding Unpack and organize groceries; maintain pantry and refrigerator cleanliness Run occasional errands, including grocery or household shopping Prepare or assist with simple, healthy meals as needed Serve as a friendly and consistent presence in the home, engaging in light conversation when welcomed Provide gentle support without being intrusive, respecting boundaries and personal routines Ideal Candidate Will Have: Prior experience working in private households as a housekeeper, companion, or similar role Proactive and self-starting work style; takes initiative while being respectful of the client's space A natural ability to build trust and rapport while maintaining professional boundaries Strong organizational and cleaning skills Reliable transportation for errands and commuting Schedule & Compensation: Schedule: 2-3 days per week (flexible on specific days and hours) Compensation: $40 per hour, payroll through third-party provider (W2 employment)
