We re looking for a friendly Server that s enthusiastic about serving tasty food, drinks, and coffee while ing authentic connections with guests at The Hart and The Hunter,
ABOUT THE HART AND THE HUNTER:
Palihotel Seattle is home to The Hart and The Hunter, our laid-back Americana diner featuring elevated diner classics and easygoing cocktails. Established in Los Angeles in 2012, this family-friendly and cheerful Pike market adjacent neighborhood spot offers crave-worthy dishes such as Smoked Corn Beef Hash, Griddled Sandwiches, Pie la Mode, Savory or Sweet Waffles, and other delights! Cocktails range from seasonal specialties to the classics done right. THE TASK AT HAND:
You re the friendly face that enhances our guests experience by bringing your own flavor to the table.
Making sure guests are having a fabulous time, from the moment they arrive until it's time to say goodbye.
Creating a warm, friendly, and laidback atmosp that turns first-time guests into regulars. Learning our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.
Taking orders, running food, making espresso drinks, and serving cocktails and other refreshments from the bar as ordered by guests.
Working with the team to ensure the restaurant and bar run smoothly with everything in its place.
We like to keep things tidy and fun for patrons and our staff.
Restocking, replenishing, and prepping the coffee bar and side work areas as needed.
Communicating openly with bar and restaurant managers when ites to customer feedback.
Collaborating with the hotel staff to ensure overnight guests visit the bar/restaurant and know about all. the great offerings (and promotions!) available exclusively to them.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Provide legiblemunication and directions.
Compute basic arithmetic.
Perform job duties with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Prioritize,anize, and follow up.
Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
Follow directions thoroughly.
Understand guest s service needs.
Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Work with minimal supervision.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
1-3 years of experience as a Server in a high-quality full service or fast casual environment.
