Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens, towels, uniforms, and other

laundry items to ensure guests and hotel staff have clean, fresh, and properly maintained fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

Laundry Processing

Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment.

Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and level of soiling.

Wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel laundry items.

Treat stains and perform spot-cleaning when necessary.

Quality Control

Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, damage, or wear.

Remove and report any stained or damaged items to the supervisor.

Ensure proper folding and storage to maintain a neat appearance.

Inventory & Organization

Maintain adequate stock of clean linens and towels for housekeeping.

Record laundry loads, chemicals used, and inventory counts as required.

Organize and store laundry supplies properly.

Maintenance & Safety

Keep laundry room clean and organized.

Follow all safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and operating

equipment.

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous laundry, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred but not

required.

Skills:

Ability to operate laundry equipment safely.

Attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Time management skills to handle multiple loads efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift to 25-30 lbs.

Stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
