BLACKBARN is an American restaurant and the creation of Chef John Doherty, former Executive Chef of New Yorks Waldorf-Astoria. Our Modern Barn is located at the north end of Madison Square Park in NYCs Nomad neighborhood. Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting tables in a timely manner
- Polishing dishes and silverware
- Prepping coffee stations with necessary supplies for daily operations - barista experience a plus!
- Experience with fast-paced dining
- Demonstrates highly organized work habits
- Communicates clearly and respectfully with everyone on every level
- Availability to work evenings, days, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Looks for ways to help others and makes a positive impact on the operation
- Finds things to do when there is nothing to do
- Experience with fast-pace and/or upscale dining is a plus
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Compensation DetailsCompensation: Hourly ($11.00) plus tips
