ReAnimator Coffee is committed to providing a high-quality hospitality experience to our customers. To do so, we rely on our staff of baristas to ensure that each item on our menu is prepared properly and served with warmth and care. Baristas at ReAnimator Coffee are detail oriented, committed to crafting excellent drinks, and are excited and willing to meet each customer where they are with respect and attentiveness. Workspaces and dining rooms are kept clean and orderly, and the relationship between co-workers and management is one of mutual respect.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Serve each customer who comes to our shop with equal respect and utmost hospitality
- Uphold standards regarding customer service, drink preparation, and cafe cleanliness
- Fill out applicable shift checklists on a daily basis
- Maintain clean workspaces and facilities
- Clean dishes and service ware during shift
- Responsibly handle cash during daily operation and closing
- Take direction and guidance from the Lead Barista and Management
- Communicate espresso dial in specs during each bar shift
- Communicate food waste, tips (cash and credit card), and any information relevant for the next shift at the end of each close
- Arrive and depart from each shift as scheduled
- Engage with all information regarding current menu items, single origin coffees, and food offerings
- Contribute to a culture of clear communication between staff and leadership
- Communicate any items that are low or out of stock
- Provide inventories of cafe supplies when asked by a manager
- Follow culture and guidelines as communicated by the employee handbook
- Brew and prepare all menu items in accordance with Managements posted guidelines
- Adhere to hospitality directives set forth by Management
- Reports to Director of Retail
Requirements:
- Ability to work up to an 8 hour shift with break
- Comfortable starting work at 6:30a on a regular basis
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted and up to 70lbs assisted
Compensation: Hourly ($14.30) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $250
