WHAT OUR FOOD & BEVERAGE ATTENDANTS/RUNNERS DO

The Food and Beverage Attendant provides food and beverages to customer in an efficient and pleasant manner.

A FOOD & BEVERAGE ATTENDANT/RUNNERS DAY-TO-DAY

• Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner

• Take food and beverage orders; accepts payments and makes correct change.

• Provides food and beverages at the counter, in measured quantities and according to company standards.

• Accurately conduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed including credit and refund transactions.

• Ensure all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.

• Adhere to state, local, and company regulations and laws concerning the service of food and beverage products.

• Maintain compliance with company and industry with the best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for all colleagues and guests.

• All other duties assigned by leadership.

WHAT IT TAKES

Food & Beverage Attendants possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including respect for all individuals and solid communication skills. Food & Beverage attendants must be strong players.

• HS Diploma or equivalent restaurant/hospitality experience (Optional)
• Proven success in school/previous job experience
• Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with California Child Labor Laws
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
• Ability to comply with all uniform policies
• Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state and local food preparation and serving regulations
• Must possess exceptional customer services skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction
• Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
• Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bed, squat, or reach above shoulders
• Ability to withstand heat and humidity from food preparation equipment
• Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 25 pounds or more
• This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments
• Frequent exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions
• Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $16.75 / hr.

Shift:

• Evening shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Weekend availability

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.75 / hr.
