The Banquet House Attendant will provide exceptional service to our guests from arranging tables and chairs to cleaning and vacuuming, planning and execution.

BASIC PURPOSE: Set-up and clearing of china, glass, silver, linen, tables, chairs, and props for banquet functions as well as attend to guest needs and requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order. (40%)

2. Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition. (15%)

3. Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans. (15%)

4. Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotels receiving area and store them safely and securely. (10%)

5. Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)

6. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serve food to guests.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Education: High school education equivalent experience

  • Experience: Minimum one year food service or related work

  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding room set-up.

  • No. of employees supervised: None

  • Travel required: None

  • Hours required: Forty hours over a five-day period; scheduled

days and times may vary based on need
