THE JOB:
In this exciting role, youll be the first smiling face our guests see as they arrive, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. Your key responsibilities as a Valet Attendant will include greeting guests with enthusiasm, parking and retrieving a variety of vehicles, and ensuring everyone starts their visit with exceptional service. THE STARTING RATE: $12.75 with TIPS

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services

• Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guests vehicle for their departure

• Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid

• Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance

• Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion

• Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions

• Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty

• Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation

• Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Two years of experience in a service related industry prefereed

• Able to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
