Job Summary/Basic Function

The barista is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. He/she is also responsible for educating customers about our premium coffees and teas. The barista fulfills any other duties the store manager or shift supervisor assigns and represents Sodexo in a professional manner.

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greets customers, mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, and fruit blend drinks.

Arranges coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs to make attractive displays.

Maintains bar/cart area in a neat and sanitary manner.

May records all sales, collects money, operates a cash register and follows all cash handling procedures as required.

May operate a cash register.

May sell food items.

May maintain inventory, stock.
