The Sonnenalp is looking for a Full time Barista to stay through the end of the summer season on October 15th Wage 1700 plus tips Typical Schedule Must be able to work weekends & holidays Primary Purpose of Position The Treff Caf barista bartender is responsible for exceptional guest service This will include all aspects of great customer service order input preparation delivery and payment processing The Barista will need to be able to prioritize and manage time correctly They will work the register prepare menu items and keep the caf clean and well stocked for service throughout the entire shift They will be responsible for correct cash handling and daily check outs The position requires working closely with a high volume of demanding clientele and other staff The Barista must not only be congenial but able to appropriately deal with customers and fellow workers At all times the barista is expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome comfortable important and relaxed Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set Treff Caf for business responsible for all assigned opening closing and weekly side work dutiesHave knowledge of all menu items and ingredients and answer guest questions about food and drinksMake suggestions and recommend optionsServe food and drink while creating a professional and caring relationship with customersAssist guests with to go orders or serve to tables in and outsideKeep a safe and clean working environment for staff as well as guestsEducationExperience One year of barista experience preferredTIPS certification preferred and required once employedMust be over the age of 18Special SkillsEquipment Excellent guest service skillsPersonable disposition which is maintained in high pressure situations requiredStrong organizational skills requiredShould be prepared to work long hours and variable schedule to include holidays and weekendEnglish fluency requiredEssential Physical Requirements Position primarily performed indoors assisting a variety of guestsAbility to regularly carry up to 40 lbsShould be prepared to work long hours and able to stand for an extended timeBenefits Resort DiscountsHoliday Pay & Sick Pay401k Retirement Plan & Roth 401k After one year and 1000 hours workedEmployee Assistance ProgramParking Credit or Discounted Bus PassesEmployee Meal
